RAT - RC-3 Knife Info
The knife is 100 percent made in the USA and features 1095 carbon steel that has been differentially heat treated, so the edge is harder than the rest of the knife, thus making a stronger overall knife. The knife is powder coated with a new Super Tough coating so it will handle the elements well. Handles are made from Micarta and hold their grip well when wet, bloody or muddy. They’re held on with Allen screws with blue (removable) Loctite through a barrel nut that goes through the tang of the knife. So if the user needs to remove them for any reason to clean then knife they can. The pointed butt will break auto glass or it can be used as a defensive weapon. The generous choil allows for more detailed work by choking up on the grip by putting your index finger in the choil and the thumb on the ridged spine.
This complete package is compact but gives the user a lot of knife for its size.
